We are very happy with this TV, which we have been watching for over a month now. The picture quality was outstanding right out of the box, hooked up to digital cable. Very minimal tweaking of picture settings needed to deliver an outstanding image. After doing all the research on the latest and greatest out there (LED, and in particular, true full array LED backlighting) I looked at the image quality of this TV at a local store and could not justify the extra 0+ for it. While I don’t claim to be an expert, I find the contrast and blacks to be very good on this TV, and the overall image and color quality are excellent. The style of this TV is also nice and sleek, and I especially like the ease of pivoting the TV on its stand, which is a cool translucent cylinder. My regular old DVD player looks great playing on this TV, and the HD content on digital cable blew me away. I find the sound quality good, but it is not going to deliver the big cinema sound that many folks are coming to expect (just like most TVs these days). Amazon’s delivery on this was a little slow (with free shipping it was a full two weeks for delivery), but I was very happy with the delivery service.
